This article introduces my current research project on a palaeography of the Demotic epigraphical sources, focusing in the first step on incised stone inscriptions. The palaeographic tables are arranged according to complete lemmata and not to single signs, due to the fact that Demotic was written and likewise read in groups. Therefore an additional focus is set on the influences of the position of a special sign element within such a group writing of a word. Indices will allow searching for all single elements. It is planned to publish the results online in pdf files, so that it is possible to actualize and extend the tables quickly.
